The Prodigal Path is committed to making this website accessible to everyone — including people with disabilities. Accessibility is not an afterthought for us. This is a community built for people who are healing, and we want the door to be wide open for all who need it.

We are actively working to ensure that our site meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility.

What We Are Doing

We are working toward accessibility through the following practices:

• Using clear, readable fonts and sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
• Writing meaningful alternative text for images so screen readers can convey them accurately
• Structuring pages with proper heading hierarchy so assistive technologies can navigate content logically
• Ensuring all interactive elements (buttons, links, forms) are keyboard-navigable
• Avoiding motion or flashing effects that can cause difficulty for users with vestibular or seizure sensitivities
• Writing in plain, clear language so content is understandable at a broad reading level

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of the site may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA in every respect. We are a small ministry, and accessibility improvements are ongoing. If you encounter a barrier, we genuinely want to know — not because we are legally required to fix it, but because we want everyone to be able to use this site.

We are currently reviewing and improving:

• Complex interactive features like the community forum and course players
• PDF and printable resource documents
• Any embedded third-party content such as video players
